Hymenoscyphus "schwegleri" : confirmation
Nicolas VAN VOOREN, 18-09-2011 19:41

Hi Nicolas

I am actually not sure whether this "schwegleri" is something real. Presently i would say it is merely H. epiphyllus.

Look here, this I think is epiphyllus (on Alnus viridis). The photo in Breitenbach pl. 149 shows this species, in my opinion, though the micros belong to Rutstroemia bolaris.

OK.
A. alnobetulae is the correct name for A. viridis.

In Wikipedia it is still a synonym of of the valid viridis, even in the French.

Do you have a website or paper about that change?

thanks, you are obviously right. I only was unable to find a reference to an article, that explains the reasons for this name change.
