I have recently found the very helpful European Key to the Genus Scutellinia which has helped me to get my latest find to hopefully species level.Found on some muddy ground with plant debris and some on very wet branches in north wales,cups up to approximately 8mm diameter,hairs to 1216 ?m with mainly bifurcate bases,spores with rounded ends 18.37 - 20.25 ?m x 10.82-13.48 ?m,they appear to have some warts and possibly crests.Having tried this key for the first time I have hit it to S.subhirtella which I must admit was suggested before with out the length of hairs and spore ornamentation.
