Dear Ascolovers, especially interested in Pezizales,
We would like to improve our knowledge of the distribution of Pezizales present in Europe, as well as their ecology and period of growth. These data will complete our own database and will be used in the forthcoming book of Pezizomycetes, published by Ascomycete.org.
Many data are available on the Internet, more or less structured, often incomplete. Sometimes we do not have any data from several countries. This is why we solicit you to contribute with your own documented collections. An Excel sheet, with an example of compiled data for Paragalactinia berthetiana, is available at the address (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rtt6dnnc712a7zcsohkur/Paragalactinia_berthetiana-EX.xlsx?rlkey=7up6dee04kams9m4yqzuuhed6&dl=0). You can use it to record your data.
It's important that collections registered in this file to be documented, and you can insert a link to this documentation (FaceBook post, published article, PDF available on the net, Ascofrance or another forum post, iNaturalist observation, or any other link to an Internet repository). This will help to confirm your determination. Of course, undertermined but well documented collections can be proposed, we'll try to identify them.

This first call is dedicated to Pezizaceae and Ascobolaceae.
