Nemania diffusa complex

Hi to all.

Here is a specie that can may be related to Nemania diffusa complex, found in Gwadeloupe next year on a decorticated wood on the ground.

Your opinion on it could be interesting for me.

The stroma is elongated, ranging in length from 11 to 26 mm but in width from 4 to 6 mm. The stroma is 1 to 1.2 mm thick. The stromal surface is often cream to yellowish-cream in color and frequently disappears to reveal an underlying black carbonaceous layer.

The reaction to KOH is negligible or sometimes only very slightly yellowing (possibly colored by the aforementioned yellowish layer).
The ostioles are papillate and black. The black carbonaceous layer surrounds the perithecia, covers the stroma, and extends into the xylem beneath the stroma.

Cylindrical IKI+ asci measure 120–130 x 6–8 µm. The apical ring generally appears to be as tall as it is wide: H x W = 1.5–1.6 x 1.6 µm. The spores are uniseriate.

The spores are dark brown to blackish with a straight germ slit running from end to end. They often have one rounded tip while the other is pinched.

They measure 11.8–13.2 × 5.6–6.4 µm, with Q=1.9–2.25 and N=25.

Thanks in advance !
