On dung... Thecotheus?
Juuso Äikäs, 20-09-2020 15:13
Some quite small ascos were growing on deer dung with a bunch of other species.

Spores 13.4 - 14.6 × 6.5 - 6.9 µm, asci 105 - 140 x 11.5 - 13.5 µm, tips of paraphyses 3 - 5 µm wide.

Maybe someone knows the species/genus?

Hello Juuso,
I am not fully sure but I would think of a very unripe Ascobolus, maybe A. furfuraceus.
Best regards, Lothar
