Ciboria brunneorufa
Nedim Jukic, 13-02-2016 13:37
Nedim JukicI have found this few days ago on old leaves of Pistacia lentiscus in mediterranean/coastal part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ascospores:
13.9 - 16.4 x  4.7 - 5.4 µm
Me = 14.9 x 5 µm ; Qe = 3
I`ve noticed some differences in paraphyses type (some enlarged in the apex and with a lot of pigmentation, other narrow, without pigment and usually branched.
I`m also missing information about distribution pattern and abundance in Mediterranean and coastal areas elsewhere (only have data for Spain and Portugal).
I would appreciate also if someone could verify determination and mail me following paper:

ORMAD, J. & F. GARCÍA (2007). Ciboria brunneorufa Bres. (1903), un ascomycete poco frecuente. Butll. Soc. Micol. Valenciana 12: 101-104.
