... on twig attached to small tree of Citrus auran
Hi,
I have this pyreno from bark of living Acer with dark brown, transversely septate spores ca 52 x 20 mym. The spores can seem to be muriform in the pictures but this is due to many small droplets inside. Pseudothecia ca 400 mym wide, erumpent or mostly free, mostly conical, somewhat collapsing, Bitunicate. Hamathecium persistent. The spores are uni- to biseriate and 8 per ascus. On all my three pieces (from one and the same tree) the pseudothecia seem associated with the thallus of Caloplaca obscurella, but his may be a coincidence.
Very grateful for advice since I am out of ideas regarding the identification of this fungus.
best
Björn
I have sent you something on Facebook. :)
regards,
björn
Thank you for the suggestion! I will check some and contact you again. The spores look green on image but are brown in reality.
Best
Björn
