Hello,
I found this species on crocus. I first thought of P hispidula but bristels are too long according to E&E. Frb 0,15mm wide with hairs up to 150x7µm. Spores 9/11x2µm, with 2 drops, no septa seen and with bristels between 4&6µm.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Ralph
D. ipomoeae Crous, Persoonia 33: 220?221 (Fungal Planet 284), 2014 (n. sp.). ? D. ambiguum, bambusicola, iriomotense,, japonicum, parastrigosum, pseudodecipiens,, rishiriense, sasae, Hashimoto et al., Mycoscience 56: 86?101, 2014 (generic expansion from Diarimella, Stauronema, n. spp., ITS).
Dinemasporium graminum is very common on grasses and I found it also on other hebaceous substrates. The spore size you give correspond to it, but in D. graminum the hairs are up to 300 µm, See Ellis & Ellis (1985) p. 465.
Kind regards
