Lachnum subvirgineum?
Buckwheat Pete, 10-05-2026 09:02
Hello everybody, ould this be Lachnum subvirgineum? Living Alnus next to a stream, Czech Republic. Hairs about 40-80 um long (capitate), spores: S = 8,61 - 10,62 x 1,73 - 2,29; Q = 3,79 - 5,28 [~ 9,08 ~ 2 ~ 4,54] (10) Asci are wide about 4,5-5,2 um. Thanks.

Re : Lachnum subvirgineum?
Obviously a sample without VBs in paraphyses and hairs. I agree, its should be subvirgineum. When you give ascus width you need to specify if from living or dead asci. You have wonderfuly fully turgescent asci, and I assume they are wider than 4.5-5.2 µm.
