Chlorociboria aeruginella?
Francois Guay,

I found what might be Chlorociboria aeruginella on a Betula alleghaniensis leaf in Quebec, Canada. I was wondering what your opinion is on this find, and whether this fungus has ever been reported from North America.
-On Betula alleghaniensis leaf
-About 150–400 µm in diameter
-Spores 8.6–10.68 × 2.67–3.38 µm
-Asci 8-spored with croziers, IKI+

Thanks!

Re : Chlorociboria aeruginella?
I think yes! But I only know it being reported from Filipendula ulmaria, including the type, except for a recent report by Schönfeld et al. 2023 in Boletus on Reynoutria japonica.

Re : Chlorociboria aeruginella?
Awesome, thanks Zotto! I will send it to DNA sequencing.
