Hello,

This is a quite common species on rotten wood in Japan.

2-5 mm in diam., short-stalked, outer surface weakly furfuraceous.
asci IKI+, 8-spored, seem no crozier, 110-140 x 8-11 µm.
ascospores 14-18 x 3.4-5.6 µm.
medullary excipulum interwoven pale-brown hyphae 2-3 µm in diam.
ectal excipulum 40-60 µm thick, cells upto about 20 µm.

Does anyone know what it could be?

Re : small disco
It reminds me of a Tatraea, but absent croziers I do not remember in that genus.

I'll re-examine the crozier.
