I'd lke to know your opinion about this small (up to 0.3-0.4 mm), gregarious, withish, later clearly yellow turbinate ascomata that grows on Acer sp. bark.
I think could be a Calycellina species

Re:Calycellina (?) on Acer sp. bark
Hi Enrique
I remembered a collection I made in "Mellasco" 2008 in Forêt de Chizé, Les Essarts, on Acer bark (!). I think this fits 100%. The only problem: I have no name for it. I also wrote "?Calycellina", but as there are no VBs at all, it cannot be a Calycellina. Here my data:
Acer campestre, ca. 4 cm thick hanging (broken) branch, ca. 2 m above ground, inner face of bark, very rotten. Ap. 0.25-0.7 mm diam, first olivaceous-greyish, then yellowish-cream to light lemon-yellow. Asci *63-76 x 11-11.5 µm, IKI 2bb broad ring (Calycellina-like), with croziers. Sp. *11-13 x 3.7-4.3 µm, 1-septate within living asci.
