Hello everybody, on decayed hardwood e.g. Quercus
Diameter 2-6mm sessile, the inside orange, outside with brown fibers, the edges with very small whitish hairs.
Asci 200 x 9.5 µm, IKI negative
Spores elliptical with thick warts and an irregular network.
Measured in water Me = 16.9 × 8.3 µm; Qe = 2
Paraphyses narrow cylindrical with orange content, slightly thickened towards the top.
With the key of Häffner we arrive at Melastiza flavorubens, can this be correct?
Thanks in advance for your help
Margot&Geert Vullings
The incomplete spore network of your collection would lead me to call it M. flavorubens.
Amitiés
Michel
That would be great, Melastiza flavorubens has not been seen in the Netherlands since 1999.
Kind regards,
Margot&Geert
The key of Dougoud also gives M. flavorubens.
Kind regards,
Margot&Geert
