Viktorie Halasu
Hello, could anyone please send me the article wi
Good morningThis Hypoxylon grew erumpent on branches with bark, but also others growing on wood without bark, and they are not erumpent. Macroscopically they are small balls, grouped together, with 4-8 perithecia inside each group. The stroma between perithecia is white and yellow. The measurements of each group of periteciums is (762,9) 837,8 - 1323,6 (1446,9) × (573,3) 576,5 - 726,7 (755,1) µm; N = 7; Me = 1169,8 × 647,9 µm (width x height).
Individual perithecium measurement is (304,1) 321 - 442,5 (444,9) × (187,2) 198,7 - 305,3 (331,3) µm; Q = (1) 1,2 - 1,7 (1,8) ; N = 14; Me = 367,6 × 254,8 µm ; Qe = 1,5 (height x width).
Asci 8-spores, IKI -, (134,6) 138,8 - 163,6 (174,7) × (7,7) 8,1 - 11,3 (12,3) µm; N = 14; Me = 151,1 × 9,7 µm. Pars sporifera (97,8) 111,5 - 127,1 (134,5) µm; N = 37; Me = 119,6 µm.
The spores are citriform, some with a small nipple at the sharp end. Germinative line is straight and goes from side to side. The apical apparatus of the asci is completely IKI -, even with pretreatment with KOH. The perisporium does not fall off with KOH. (9,5) 10,9 - 12,2 (12,7) × (6) 6,3 - 7,8 (8,5) µm; Q = (1,3) 1,5 - 1,8 (1,9); N = 37; Me = 11,6 × 7 µm ; Qe = 1,7
It has a solution of pigments in KOH of a light orange color, in the image I sent it looks too yellow.
The macroscopic aspect leads me to the Jackrogersella genus, but the non-amyloid apical apparatus does not match.
Thank you in advance.
Miguel ángel Ribes.

Does anyone have the article? I'm being asked to pay to download it.
Cheers,
Jacques
I have to look carefully at the description, but with the keys I can perfectly get to X. discolor.
