Karstenia Idaei or K. rhopaloides?

We think a Karstenia, could this be K. Idaei or K. rhopaloides?
Spores measured in water 37.6-58.38 x 2.9-3.8µ
Asci measured in water 71x12µ
Paraphyses thin cylindrical.
We tried pre-treating with KOH and staining with Lugol. The Ascus top is I+ ? Should be neg.
For Karstenia rhopaloides the spores are to thin.
We think we see periphysoids?
Thanks in advance,
Margot&Geert

No, but perhaps K. idaei?

Re : Karstenia Idaei or K. rhopaloides?
Hans-Otto, you mean no for the periphysoids?
Could it be K. idaei with ascus I+?

Re : Karstenia Idaei or K. rhopaloides?
I did not read your heading when I suggested K. idaei.
The periphysoids are pretty o.k. for Karstenia, but you are right, K. idaei I know without amyloid ring. In your specimen it is an exceptionally clearly amyloid ring.
I have not the time to check all my files so my answers are often spontaneous, I am sorry.

Re : Karstenia Idaei or K. rhopaloides?
Thank you very much and no sorry needed, we are always happy with your help.
In your paper of K. idaei on photo 7-II-2009-2 and 3 we also see an Lugol "swach" + reaction and on photo 13-VII-2008-2 also Lugol + reaction.
Kind regards, Margot&Geert

Re : Karstenia Idaei or K. rhopaloides?
Actually the 2008 find is strongly blue in the apical ring. It must be Enrique's images but I lost the info from where I got them in mid July 2008.
2009 is Gernot's, and I am not even sure if it has a ring.
Everything is possible: different species or variation within a species.
