Unknown pyrenomycete on Quercus
Manak Roman, 13-02-2024 20:39
I found small (maximum diameter 0.4 mm) pyrenomycetes on a large dead Quercus robur trunk in a more advanced state of decomposition. Unfortunately, I cannot assign them to a genus. The asci measure 80 - 110 × 7 - 11 µm, mature ascospores 13.0 - 17.5 × 4.3 - 5.5 µm. Do you have any guesses as to what they might be?
