Hi all,
I am new here and relatively new in the world of fungi. Recently I moved to French Guyana and started to explore fungal diversity.
I found this amazing structure on a burnt wood, approx 5mm hight.
Do you have some lead on what it could be?

Tubifera (Myxogasteres)
Hello Dora,
this is a Myxogasteres of the genus Tubifera - perhaps T. dimorphotheca or T. papillata. I would be very interested to have al look at the specimen.
Yours, Lothar

Re : what do you think of this?
Thanks a lot Lothar! Thats amazing. :)

I just had a look and I dont see fruiting bodies on the log anymore. I will keep you updated if it changes or if I see them again somewhere else.
