I have a problem with this....
Jennifer Fiorentino, 17-11-2023 16:14
I was examining a white, lobed lichen which looked like Diploicia canescens growing on the bark of Ulmus (Central Mediterranean). Came across what looked like its fruiting body but on sectioning I did not find what what I expecting. The asci contained hundreds of spores which seem to be uni-septate with sculptured walls and measuring 9 -19um X 4.5-8um. I suspect a lichenicolous fungus. Any suggestions on what this could be?
