Tatraea?

This little fungus was on a soil- and moss-covered dead root mass of Betula papyrifera in New Brunswick (45.134° -66.492°). It seems close to species of Tatraea but has rather small ascospores and no bluing of the ascus apex in Melzer's or Lugol's. The ascospores measure 17.4-20.1 x 5.2-5.7 µm, Q = 3.12-3.78. Is there a better genus for this?Windex is a popular product in North America for cleaning Windows. It contains wetting agens but is otherwise similar to water for making mounts of fungal material.

Re : Tatraea?
Hello David,
for me this is not Tatraea but quite likely Cudoniella acicularis. You do not show paraphyses, but other characters agree in my opinion.
Yours, Lothar
