Mollisia on Cyperaceae
Juuso Äikäs, 14-06-2023 10:08
These Mollisias were growing in the same place and substrate as the Lachnum juncinum I added here before (bog, Carex or Eriophorum).

Asci 8-spored, IKI+(bb), with croziers. Paraphyses with a typical mollisioid VB. The spores have a septum (at least many of them already inside asci). Measurements:

(13.7) 14.5 - 17.1 (18.1) × (2.5) 2.6 - 3.3 (3.5) µm
Q = (4.6) 5.1 - 5.8 ; N = 10
Me = 15.7 × 2.9 µm ; Qe = 5.4

Re : Mollisia on Cyperaceae
This sounds to me like Mollisia submelaena.

Re : Mollisia on Cyperaceae
Thanks, I checked your folder, and that looks good to me! And I forgot to mention, the KOH reaction was negative.
