Sven Heinz, 26-02-2023 18:12
Sven HeinzHello,

i found these star-shaped formations on leaves of Forsythia. Does anyone know what this could be? The diameter is 300 µm.

Greetings Sven

Re : star-shaped formations
These are stellate hairs of the leaves, Surely of Forsythia?

Here are pictures of Deutzia:

Thanks that fits! I am absolutely certain that it is Forsythia. On some leaves there are very few stars, on others there are many.

Greetings Sven
