Hi, I found numerous seeds of Washingtonia robusta
Diplonaevia emergens on Juncus spec. in Norway - correct?

collected 8.7.22 on margin of National Park of Bjafjella, in marshy fjell vegetation. The mostly one-celled, later partly becoming 1-sseptate, naviculate spores I measured about 15-20/2-2,3 µm, the asci have croziers and are eu-amyloid. Can somebody confirm my determination?
Yours, Lothar

Hello Enrique,
thank you very much for your response and confirmation! In fact our finds are very similar - but the black color in the margin was not present in my collection, it is cream colored as a whole. And Nannfeldt 1984 states only Juncus and not Luzula as substrate of D. emergens (what maybe does not say too much).

Re : Diplonaevia emergens on Juncus spec. in Norway - correct?
The explanation is that my apos was already too old and that is why the margins were blackened.

Re : Diplonaevia emergens on Juncus spec. in Norway - correct?
I suppose the marginal colour varies, I know the species rather pale. The guttulate paraphyses are typical. I have also a sample on Luzula (HB 5811). This species is in need of getting sequenced, there is none in GenBank.
