Calycina heterospora?
Stefan Jakobsson, 04-11-2021 19:16
On a culm of Chamaenerion angustofolium there were some white to light reddish more or less sessile apothecia. The spores are 7.8-10.3 × 2.0-2.4 µm, 1-septate and at times budding with small conidia. The asci are 66-82 × 4.4-6.5 µm, all ascospores of the same size.

Many details match Calycina heterospora - but is it?

Re : Calycina heterospora?
Although I see only living spores, other elements are dead, I concur this should be this species, which is not easy to circumscribe. This complex should be investigated by molecular methods.

Re : Calycina heterospora?
Thank you! It seems to dry out very easily even though externally looking fresh.
