Bonsoir à tous,
De petits ascomes à apex tronqué, isolés ou groupés sur Massaria inquinans, sur branches mortes d'Acer pseudoplatanus.
Ascospores : 8-10,5 x 3,2-4,6 µm (Q : 2-2,6), elliptiques, avec une cloison, peu étranglées au niveau de cette dernières, lisses puis très finement spinuleuses à maturité (?).
Asques : 57-86 x 4,7-6,7 µm, cylindriques, contenant huit ascospores unisériées.
Paroi : 20-34 µm d'épaisseur, devenant violacée dans KOH.
L'aspect des ascomes et l'habitat fongicole évoquent un Stylonectria... Mais je n'ai pas trouvé d'espèces poussant sur Massaria (hormis Flammocladiella decora qui est tout à fait autre chose bien sûr).

What is the anamorph (cultivated) fungus of this ? Fusarium ? I have a similar collection and the colony on two plates is greenish / pigmented. Maybe I got the host growing but I was very careful in my inocculation on media. Maybe I open a new post.

Le champignon a été identifié par Christian, il s'agit de Stylonectria alpina, espèce de création récente.
Pour voir son anamorphe, voir AscomyceteOrg 13-01 49-53.

Thanks, I saw the paper and anamorph and it is a typical white colony and as I see it is a fusarium (I had the understanding that fusarium anamorphs are produced by Cosmospora). The transversal sections of the two stylonectria are awesome - was it by hand ?
