Dennisodiscus iridis?
Louis DENY, 09-05-2020 21:03
Bonjour.

Re : Dennisodiscus iridis?
Cher Louis

yes, I think this is D. iridis. Important is that the living paraphyses do not contain long refractive vacuoles as Mollisia does. A character is also that the subiculum and medulla react blue in IKI, though not very striking and perhaps not always.

Hemimollisia was an idea of mine, a provisional new genus. Later I discovered that Dennisiodiscus could be the genus to place this species. But strong evidence is still lacking, especially a sequence.

The family is Ploettnerulaceae, where also Pyrenopeziza belongs, not Mollisiaceae.

Re : Dennisodiscus iridis?
Since I am planning to include this species, for which I had studies Le Gal's type, in my Dennisiodiscus paper, it may well be that I give a list of all verified records. Then it would be nice to mention also yours, with some data like location and when you collected it.
