Found on freshly collected deer dung in the Bronx, New York City.
Perithecium mostly immersed, hairs around the ostiole.
Asci 180µm-210µm. Spores 40µm-52µm x 10µm-12µm.
Germ slit sometimes parallel, sometimes more diagonal.
Some seven-celled spores, but mostly six-celled spores.
Thoughts?
