Ramularia sp ?
William Slosse, 26-04-2026 21:08
William SlosseSeveral species of Ramularia occur on Rumex that I am not entirely familiar with.
I was thinking here of Ramularia rubella.

Can anyone confirm / correct this?

Thanks in advance,

William

Re : Ramularia sp ?
Dear William,

this looks fine for Ramularia rubella. It is the only Ramularia species on Rumex which has one-celled, ovoid conidia only. In the other Ramularia species, conidia are generally more elongate and most conidia have more than one cell.

Best,

Björn
