Phaeosphaeria? on Tilia branch
Björn Nordén, 24-01-2020 17:43
Hi!

Has anyone some advice on this? the ascospores become 3-septate and are hyaline and about 22 x 4 mym, with an enlarded cell in the middle. No spore sheath observed. Hamatheecium filaments broad below but with long thin branches above. Asci with tholus with narrow canal, bitunicate. The ascomata appeared under the epidermis on a 2 cm thick Tilia branch, with small inconspicuous ostioles penetrating the epidermis.
