Bernard

Great! I use to call this "Clavidisculum" imprivisum and place it in Cistella. Not sure about the original identity, I did not study Karsten's type.
The hairs are sublanceolate and warted, the paraphyses narrower and smooth.

Re : Hamatocanthoscypha (??) sur bois nu d'épicéa (Picea abies)
Good evening Zotto,
Thank you for your quick response !
If I understand you correctly, this mushroom does not really have an official name?
Can I call it "Clavidisculum imprivisum Baral" or is it better to call it otherwise?
Can you tell me if they are a common or rare species?
Thank you for everything!
Bernard

Cl. improvisum was described by Karsten as Peziza improvisa.
I think it is rather rare. So please keep this abundant sample in a herbarium.

OK Zotto, thank you for your information.
I am going to put this crop in a preservative liquid (Locquin liquid) for the A.M.F.B reference collection.
Do you want me to keep half of the samples in exsiccata for you?
Bernard

What is this liquid good for? If you want to send me part of the exsiccate I will put it to those for sequencing in the future.

Re : Hamatocanthoscypha (??) sur bois nu d'épicéa (Picea abies)
OK Zotto, I'm going to send you some of the harvest in exsiccata.
Otherwise, the Locquin liquid is an alcoholic preparation that allows the samples to be stored for the long term. The A.M.F.B. (Association of French-speaking Mycologists of Belgium) keeps all samples in specimens filled with this preservative liquid.
Best regards,
Bernard

Je ne suis pas certain que la conservation dans ce liquide soit très appropriée pour les discomycètes, notamment pour des extractions ADN...
