Coccomyces sp. on fallen Rhododendron leavesPretty
I would like to ask the community to help me narrow down the taxonomic position of two ascospores.
I would already be happy with any suggestion/idea about the class or order.
Thank you in advance, Hans
Difficult question !
First one in Pyrenulales ?
Monoseptate:
Speerschneidera
Ephebe
Buellia
Rinodina
Delitschia
Amandinea
Polycoccum
Triseptate:
Hydrothyria
Lobaria
Cryptodiscus
Thyridaria
Diadema
Any incliniations form your side?
Cheers, Hans
No, but you can forget definitively Polycoccum for the second one. Please in that case not that spores are distoseptate. You can add Cordana pauciseptata.
