Atrocalyx sp. on indet. herbaceous stemAppalachian

For the moment I looked enough at Peziza (although I still have a number of collections that perhaps will be shown here later).
Before I take this under the microscope my question:
Does somebody have a hint only macroscopically? I am not sure if I ever saw a "Cyathipodia" with such brown (and not grey) colors before.
And second: what should I look for under the microscope to prove a possible suggestion of you?
Found 30.06.2015 in Southern Norway: Telemark, Ravensjuv - possilbe trees in the vicinity are Picea, Salix or Betula.
Who has an hint?

Hello Gilbert,
thank you very much for your proposal.
Yes - that*s what makes Helvella problematic - often no significant microscopic differences. But I will compare and maybe I become sure.
Yours, Lothar
Hallo Lothar,
Lothar
