Os envío fotos y datos de este ascomicete encontrado a mediados de septiembre, sobre madera de aveto, en la Artiga de Lin (Val d'Aran).

Apotecios 0,7-1 cm diámetro.

Esporas 17,5 - 23 x 5 - 8,4 micras. Algunas con septo.


Paráfisis 2,5 micras de anchura. Asca 151,6 x 9,8 micras. Ápice de la asca amiloide.


Lo he buscado en varias guías pero no logro llegar ni al género.

Hi Andres,

in my opinion is this Tatraea dumbirensis (Velen.) Svrcek. But on Abies alba, not Fagus ?

I agree. The wood could well be from an angiosperm. This can easily be checked by looking with a handlens on a cross-cut.

I think also that the wood could be of Fagus, there is a forest of Fagus in that area.
