i found this Ascobolus on dove dung. Last year i found the same Ascobolus on the same place. Does somebody has any idea

Fruitbody: 400 x 300 µ, brownish
Asci: 250 - 300 x 70 - 80 µ, 4 - 8 spored
Spores: 35 - 45 x 35 - 41 µ

I think you found the same mushroom as last year; we had discussed it with Salvador when we did the article on Ascobolus grandisporus, and in our opinion it is a different species. The sequencing would undoubtedly be essential and would allow to see more clearly for this group.
