Unknown Pezizales on soil
Gernot Friebes, 03-07-2018 10:41
Hi,

we found this small discomycete a few days ago on soil between a forest road and a stream. I'm not even sure about the genus so any help is welcome!

A few important characteristics: ascospores measure 15.5-17.5 x (8.5)9.5-10.5 µm, they have some very small and inconspicuous oil drops towards the poles, with a very fine, irregular ornamentation; asci are IKI- and have well-developed crozier.

Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : Unknown Pezizales on soil
Hi, Gernot -

reminds me of Aleurina (Jafneadelphus) spec., although the few collections I've seen were more olivaceous in colour.

Gruß, Till

Re : Unknown Pezizales on soil
Hi, Till,

after a quick research it seems like it fits well for Aleurina tenuiverrucosa. Thank you very much for your help!

Best wishes,
Gernot
