can someone tell me what a mushroom could be? The mushroom grows on an old fallen Picea branch. In the dry state, the fungus is very hard, in wet conditions it is like rubber.
Fungus: 300 x 300 µ
Asci: 80 - 90 x 8 - 9 µ, biseriat, no iodine reaktion
Paraphyse: 90 - 100 x 2 - 3 µ, septet
Spores: 12 - 15 x 4 - 5 µ
Greetings Sven

Hi Sven,
this could be Coenogonium pineti.
Best wishes,

Re : Fungus on Picea branch
yes, i agree. Asci should be entirely hemiamyloid, the red in Lugol is not striking, but the blue after KOH-pretreatment is distinct.
