Scutellinia heterosphaera ??
Ralf Dahlheuser, 14-06-2017 20:48
Ralf DahlheuserI'm a bit unsure whether that is S. heterosphaera. Growing on rotten leafs.

Spores 18,3 - 19,9 µm, Warts 0,8 - 1,2 µm high
Hairs up to 800x30µm. Usually with simple roots. Sometimes bifurcate, rarely trifurcate.

The mixture of some low pointed and some rounded warts and the length of the hair make S heterosphaera an excellent fit.

Re : Scutellinia heterosphaera ??

Cordialement

René

Dear Mr. Dougoud,

S. heterosphaera is a nom. prov., wasn't published yet. The description can be found here: http://www.ascofrance.com/search_forum/15605 , it was collected in several other countries since (UK, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Rep., Belgium, Spain).

Re : Scutellinia heterosphaera ??
Hello Rene,

of course you are right. I also treat this type as nom. prov. until it is validly publicly described. Whether this will ever be the case, I do not know.
