Bitunicate with two-celled ascospores
Gernot Friebes,

I'm having trouble with this species that I found on a thin Salix branch. The ascospores are hyaline, two-celled (with one rounded and one acute end) and measure about 16–17.5 x 6.5–7.5 µm. No sheath observed. The asci are partly 4-spored. The ascomata are smooth and immersed in the wood to erumpent with round ostioles.
Thanks for any help and best wishes,
Gernot
