this Ascobolus grew on rabbit dung. The size of the spores fit to Ascobolus epimyces, but also fits the structure? Or does someone have a different idea? Unfortunately I have only found this one fruit body

Re : Ascobolus sp. ?
Hello Ralf.
It is certainly an Ascobolus. Do you know the color of apothecia? Are spore measurements accurate? There is A.hansenii that might look like your mushroom, but your description lacks precision.

Re : Ascobolus sp. ?
Hello Michel,
i have failed to make a photo of the fruit body because I thought it is A. albidus. The fruit body looked like a too small A.albidus, a little more yellowish. The spore measurements are accurate, I have measured several times.

Re : Ascobolus sp. ?
OK! If you find other specimens, allow them to ripen well, so as to leave time for the ornamentation to be well marked, and observe the color of the apothecia.
Michel.

Thanks Michel,
i think A.hansenii is a very good idea. The spores are not mature and I have measured without ornament. Maybe a few fruit bodies will follow
