This Scutellinia sp. was found a few days ago in a crevice on a standing rotting Populus log by the river. Spores verrucose, 24-27 X 16-18 ìm. Asci 250-330 X 15-26 ìm. Paraphyses 280-340 X 3-5 ìm (tip width: 6-7 ìm). Hairs pointed, 300-480 X 17-23 ìm, with 2-3 roots.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Re:Scutellinia sp.
Bonsoir. Hi !
Il faudrait nous en dire plus sur les verrues des spores :
1. isolées ou coalescentes ?
2. dimensions des verrues : largeur/hauteur.
You should tell us more about warts (warts = verrues en anglais ???):
1. alone or linked up ?
2. warts' size : width/height
Cordialement.
Yannick

Re:Scutellinia sp.
Thank you, Yannick, for your answer.
It was very hard for me to try and measure the width and height of the spore warts. I wonder how you do it! In any case, if my observations are correct, it seems that spore width is 1,2-1,7 ìm and height is up to 1,9 ìm. The warts seem to be isolated.
I hope this can lead somewhere.

Re:Scutellinia sp.
For me, it's Scutellinia subhirtella.
We should wait another opinion.
Que pensent les autres membres d'Ascofrance de cela ?
Best regards.

Re:Scutellinia sp.
I am wondering how it could be S. subhirtella with so few information (text or photographies)
Angelos has to take a look at Jean-Louis' file of S. subhirtella http://www.ascofrance.fr/index.php?r=bdd&page=fiche&id=1526
and also my attached photography of S. subhirtella and tell us if spores ornementation looks same or not.

Re:Scutellinia sp.
Yannick and Francois, thank you both for your answers.
I tried looking at the spores again in cotton blue. The only source for spores was my dried and shrunk specimens, and there I could find very few spores and those only in asci. Unfortunately, all I could see was some rather smooth spores, which, I guess, are of no help to anyone. So, I'm afraid we'll have to leave it at that and hope for better luck in the future.

my attached file was filtered (157ko), so I compress it a little bit more and it is OK now
