Dear collegues, I need help.

The fruitbody is very small about 0.1-0.2 mm. It shows a peculiar outer, dark excipilum with somewhat a netlike structure. The inner excipulum has more or less rectangular cells. Spores are unicellular and are about 6-7.5 um large. The asci about 30-35 um, with a blue tip with melzer. It was found in the Lower Engadin at about 1330 m a.s.l.

Thanks

Re : Disco on Pteridium aquilinum
Dear Jacob,
this net like structure is the arrangement of the hairs with the expanding of the fruitbody, although your photos miss the detail of the hairs it is most likely to be Fuscolachnum pteridis, to be sure post some higher magnifications.

best,
Stip
