Spore sizes and coniodphores are different. See Rossman et al. 2007: Sirococcus conigenus, Sirococcus piceicola sp. nov. and Sirococcus tsugae sp. nov. on conifers: anamorphic fungi in the Gnomoniaceae, Diaporthales (For. Path.). It can be found on the Internet.
