Cercospora?
Lepista Zacarias, 18-03-2016 17:40
Dear all,
I'm not very familiar with these type of fungi, so Cercospora is just one of the possibilities and maybe many others exist. This fungus grew on a clambering plant leaf. The spores are somewhat impressive since they are acicular and curved. Here are some data:
- All parts negative in lugol;
- Asci long and narrow with dimensions up to 115 x 8 µm;
- Spores acicular, curved, guttulate, with dimensions up to 80 x 2 µm.
Any hint towards its classification will be welcome.
Thanks in advance,
zaca

Re : Cercospora?
Now I dont have any image of cercospora.
Cercospora is anamorphic state of Mycosphaerellaceae. with conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, straight or flexuos, sometime geniculate. Conidiogenus integrate, terminal, polyblastic, sympodial, cylindrical, cicatrized, scar usually conspicuos. Conidia solitari, acrocpleurogenus, simple, obclavate or subulate, colorless or pale, pluriseptate, smoth.

Re : Cercospora?
OK, Thanks.
So, Cercospora is ruled out.
