Capronia chlorospora?
Eduard Osieck, 17-03-2016 22:46
Does this Capronia possibly concern C. chlorospora (identified with Gernot Friebes' key)?:

-- small ascomata (about 0,10 mm)
-- setae up to 60 um
-- muriform spores with 5-7 transverse septa and longitudinal septa across 3-5 cells
-- ascospore size 15-19 x 7 um

It would probably concern the first record for the Netherlands.

Thanking you in advance for your help, Eduard

Re : Capronia chlorospora?
I would be surprized about a Capronia here. This one is dothidealean, with typical fissitunicate asci.

Re : Capronia chlorospora?
My first impression is similar to Zotto's. Did you check if there's a hamathecium present? What's the substrate?

Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : Capronia chlorospora?
Thank you for your prompt comments.

The substrate is a thin Carpinus branch.

I haven't noted any paraphyse like hyphae but I need to check that again.
