Thorben Hülsewig, 29-02-2016 23:47
Hi there,
today i found a Elaphomyces in a mixed forest (Quercus/Fagus).
Could it be that is E. muricatus ?

thanks in advance,
Thorben

Re : Elaphomyces cf. muricatus ?
The reticulate pattern in the peridium's section is typical of E. muricatus, in the classic taxonomy.
However I don't know if recently some other taxon has been described.
Regards
Mario
