Octospora ithacaensis ?
Thorben Hülsewig, 12-01-2016 23:06
Hi there

For two days i found on the moss Lunularia cruciata this fungus.
It was unfortunately the only one specimen :(
Can it be Octospora ithacaensis ?

thanks in advance,
Thorben

Re : Octospora ithacaensis ?

Bonjour Thorben,

I also think your find fit O. ithacaensis. The species was also found last summer during the Ascomycete.org alpine foray. It was as the other finds known on Marchantia polymorpha

Re : Octospora ithacaensis ?
L'espèce est plutô signalée sur Marchantia polymorpha. Lunularia cruciata semble être un hôte nouveau pour ce champignon.
