Ombrophila spec.

This Ombrophila was collected in the National Park of "Eifel" in Germany (Northrhine-Westphalia) in 13.8.2015. It grew on wet mud under Salix aurita and Betula carpatica in a boggy forest. Unfortunately, I did not notice how much gelatinous the apothecia were.


The living spores were about 11-14(16)/4-5 (6) µm. The apical apparatus was euamyloid, with the lower part reacting more intense than the (nearly negative) upper part (the first and the last two microfotos are in IKI).


With the key of Zotto I was coming to Ombrophila spec. 4 - with some bellyache.


Can somebody say something?

Hallo Lothar eventuell kommt auch die translucens infrage. Aber ohne Excipulumdaten ist das problematisch.

was müsste ich denn im Exzipulum prüfen, um die translucens (ja, das wäre vielleicht wirklich besser ...) von der spec. 4 abzugrenzen?

Was spez. 4 war müsste ich erst ergründen. Die translucens hat eine extrem lockere Medulla, also mot viel Interzelularraum, gewöhnlich gefüllt mit Gel. Ich würde halt auch sehen wollen, ob es überhaipt Ombrophila ist. Pezoloma wäre eine Alternative, obwohl ich das nicht glaube.

Ich werde versuchen, das Exzipulum zu präparieren.


Was Pezoloma betrifft, kenne ich nur P. ciliifera aus eigener Anschauung. Was wäre denn der Gattungsunterschied (ich dachte die Exzipular-Zähne)?


Translucens scheint aber ein guter Tipp zu sein. In Deinem Schlüssel steht das Epithet mit "cf". Ist die Zuordnung immer noch unklar?

translucens ist unklar. Weiß nicht mehr warum. und Pezoloma gibt es ohne Zähne auch, durchaus im engeren Sinn, z.B. diese "herbicola".

Frag mich was leichteres, wie Pezoloma zu definieren ist. Jedenfalls ohne internes Gel, aber mit Gelaußenschicht.
