Found on cow dung.Apotheca dark yellow.
Asci: 49-52x8.5-9.5 um
Spores 7.5-9.0x4.0-4.5 um
Paraphyses: septated, approx. 47x1.1 um with an inflated apex 3.0 um wide.

The capitate paraphyses and yellow colour and the small spores remind me of a Thelebolus. In water the head of the paraphyses should contain a yellow vacuole.

Then this would be T. microsporus it is the only Thelebolus with 8-spored asci.
