J'ai récolté cette croûte rouge grenat sur une branche de Quercus pourrissant au sol.
Périthèces diam. 0,24mm sur un feutrage jaunâtre.
Asques cylindriques 3,2 x 100µ , à 16 spores 2,9 x 3,5µ presque rondes, ou carrées à faces arrondies.
J'ai pensé à Hypomyces rosellus, mais la forme des spores ne convient pas, je vois dans Ellis qu'elles devraient être comme des fuseaux coupés en 2.
Qu'en pensez-vous ?

something for Walter Jaklitsch - seems to be a spectacular Hypocrea species; at least s.l. and not a Hypomyces :-)

So far there is only one European species with such a colour: Trichoderma parmastoi (Overton) Jaklitsch & Voglmayr, earlier called Hypocrea parmastoi Overton.
