Bon jour Elisabeth

well, this is one of the most sought discomycetes. I have a couple of samples, but all rather old. Attached some drawings.

What I miss of this fungus is a good macrophoto. Yours isn't bad, but I remember that the black hairs were more visible. Is it a sparse collection? How does it look when you let the fungus dry out?

I think it is a new genus and species, but to clarify its relationship we need - as often - a sequence. I compared it with Venturiocistella, but i think it is not related with that genus. Instead, it could be related with some lichenicolous fungi.
