Recently Splanchnonema quercicola and Pleomassaria carpini were found for the first time in the Netherlands. We plan to write a short note about these records.
Of the first mentioned species I have found only one other record in Europe: in England, 2004, see http://www.fieldmycology.net/FRDBI/FRDBIrecord.asp?intGBNum=57193.
Are there any other (published) records from other countries in Europe?
Of the second, Pleomassaria (Splanchnonema) carpini, I found records in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and France. Is this species also known from other countries?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Eduard
always worth checking ASCOFrance itself :-) - http://www.ascofrance.com/search_recolte/3882
the only other British records I know (all from England specifically) at: http://www.fieldmycology.net/FRDBI/FRDBIrecord.asp?intGBNum=60333
best wishes
Chris
there's at least one record in Austria – see the attached map. Source: http://austria.mykodata.net (go there for more information on that collection).
Edit: Please note that it's Pleomassaria carpini, not "Pleuromassaria". :-)
Best wishes,
Gernot
Recientemente he recogido una muestra de Splanchnonema quercicola en Andalucía (España) que está enviada para publicar. Aún no está publicada, pero espero que sea en los próximos días. Si quieres los datos de la recolecta, te los puedo enviar.
Saludos.
Salvador.
I have corrected the misspelling of Pleomassaria.
